About Hampton Court Castle
Hampton Court Castle is a 15th Century Castle based in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, with outstanding gardens.
Within the grounds there is a long drive leading up to the Castle, formal gardens with water features, a stunning Wisteria arch, maze, beautiful flower borders and an incredible forestry backdrop. The gardens are one of the main attractions here and are the perfect setting for those all-important wedding photographs.
Inside the Castle there are some spectacular reception rooms with charm, space, and historic character. In particular the Central Courtyard and Private Chapel, which are used for ceremonies, are unique, will blow your guests away, and make for a very special place to say your vows. The rooms offers flexibility and scope for creativity, making no wedding here the same – you could have canapes in Coningsby hall, a traditional wedding breakfast in the Grand Ballroom, reception drinks in the Library with French windows opening onto the South Lawns, and there is also the option of a marquee reception for larger weddings.
With the castle available for weddings all year, we can cater for any style of wedding, whether that’s a summer garden party, or a magical winter wedding with a Christmassy feel and roaring open fires. Hampton Court Castle can offer you the setting for a personal and intimate ceremony and will effortlessly provide a special atmosphere in which to entertain your guests.
The venue is exclusive use, and there are 24 spacious guest bedrooms for family and friends to stay, with breakfast in the impressive Formal Dining Room. It’s the perfect venue and location to make your wedding day really memorable.
