Home to Lord and Lady Cobham, Hagley Hall, last of the great Palladian houses, with its rich Rococo decoration and surrounded by 350 acres of picturesque parkland, is a remarkable tribute to the artistic achievements of the great eighteenth-century amateurs, offering a splendid and unique venue for your wedding day.
The versatility of the Hall means you can choose to have a civil ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast for 120 guests or a traditional wedding champagne reception (standing) for 250 or if you have larger numbers then you can arrange for a marquee to be placed in the grounds with the Hall and parkland as a spectacular backdrop.
The Saloon, with its ornate plasterwork, offers the most beautiful and historic setting for a civil ceremony seating 90 guests with quintessentially English views of the St John's Church, situated in the grounds of Hagley Hall.
After the ceremony, enjoy champagne and canapés in the White Hall with its wonderful arched lobby and scagliola figures of the Gods such as Bacchus and Venus. With views of the hills of Worcestershire beyond the landscaped lawns this couldn’t be a more perfect setting for toasting the newly wedded couple.
The Wedding Breakfast takes place in the Gallery, seating 120, exquisitely decorated with silk wall coverings. However, the Crimson Dining Room offers an unrivalled setting for a smaller more intimate wedding reception.
Hagley Hall continues to be a popular wedding venue helped by the recent renovation of the Lyttelton Suite which offers a lounge, bar and dance floor for evening entertainment. It’s like getting 2 venues for the price of one!
